Infant jesus church Jubily memorial shrine inaugurated

It was on 9th of this may, Rev Dr.Stanley roman - Bishop of quilon- Inaugurated the st Mary's shrine in memorial of the 400 years jubilee of St.peters church. The first church was built in 1610 has been rebuilt several times, recently in 2006 and this year we are celebrating 400 year jubilee. The foundation stone for this shrine was laid last December and it was expected to complete before the infant Jesus feast on last January. But due to the lack of time to complete the construction it was postponed and decided to conduct the inauguration after the Easter. Even though it is small, It is a very nice construction, a very divine holy statue of mother mary has been placed in the shrine. Nowadays Lot of peoples are coming to watch and pray here.
